Bladder or urinary bladder is kind of hollow muscular sac, situated at the base of the pelvis in the lower abdominal area.It’s connected side by side with Ureters (Tube that pass urine from both kidneys to bladder). The other side bladder is connected with Urethra (A tube that passes from penis and drive urine from outside body). Empty bladders about 2 inches in size, something like a pear and when urine comes inside it, the size gets increased up to 6 inches.

Unexpected exponential growth of the bladder wall can form tumor and damage the tissue. This kind of cancer very common in elders, after the age of 65, and chances are that it will grow with growing age. This is not gender specific and the disease affects men and women both.

Urinary bladder is made with multiple layers, and each layer is made with different type of cells. In most of the cases bladder cancer starts from the inner most layer, and tends to grow on other layer, spreading outside.
