Overview

The Department of Family Medicine offers continuity of care beyond hospital for the elderly, who are not able to visit in OPD often. We are committed to take care of non – communicable diseases, which are chronic in nature, requiring long term monitoring & regular medical interventions. With growing number of nuclear families & increasing urban migration, the elderly in some cases are left with no care givers. In such cases we as family physicians take care & provide quality medical care in place of aggressive medical intervention & symptomatic management at home. There are a few patients who are bed ridden & can’t come to the hospital because of their poor general condition, such patients can be managed at home with proper planning, under the care of Family Medicine Department.
