HDF Machine (Hemodiafiltration machine)

Hemodiafiltration (HDF) is a form of renal replacement therapy that combines convective and diffusive clearance, as opposed to standard hemodialysis. HDF removes more middle-molecular-weight solutes than standard hemodialysis. Some studies, but not all, have suggested that HDF is associated with better clinical outcomes when adequate convection volumes are achieved.
