Dr. Amit Jha is a nationally renowned anesthesiologist having over 15 years of experience in this profession. He has played a vital role in the successful completion of more than 1500 liver transplants and thousands of GI & HPB surgeries.
Dr. Jha has expertise in the perioperative management of patients posted for a liver transplant, donor hepatectomy and various gastrointestinal & hepatobiliary surgical procedures.
He specializes in the ICU management of liver transplant recipients and donors. He is adept at stabilization and optimization of patients with acute liver failure, GI bleeding, decompensated liver failure or liver trauma.
Additionally, he has experience of leading an anaesthesia and critical care team at two high-volume centres.
